Once a thriving hub of fresh produce, the community garden at 95 Commerce Street in Taree has fallen into disrepair over the years. But that's about to change.
Thanks to the initiative of our team, we have offered to take over the garden and bring it back to its former glory.
Our plan is simple: with the help of volunteers, we want to transform the overgrown garden into a thriving oasis that produces an abundance of fresh produce. But that's not all. We also want to use the garden as a platform to provide training and modelling in sustainable land care.
Our aim is to create a space that stimulates social interaction, self-reliance, and healthy eating habits.
We can't do this alone, we need your help. If you're passionate about making a positive impact in your community and want to spend your free time in a fulfilling way, then we invite you to join us at our local community garden.
No gardening experience is necessary - we welcome everyone who is interested in making a difference. By volunteering with us, you'll get to enjoy the great outdoors, meet new people, and contribute to a sustainable and beautiful garden that benefits the entire community.
